Quilting - Master the Basics
(November 7th) by Nadine Ruggles
- Take the first steps in machine
quilting with this comprehensive
beginning class. Class is presented
in exercise format, and introduces
students to machine guided and
free motion quilting, including
continuous line designs, grids,
stippling and meandering, echo
quilting and other background
patterns. A discussion of tools,
materials, marking tools and
basting techniques is also presented.

how to make two traditional
patchwork block patterns, -
not by regular sewing, but by
just folding fabric pieces and
placing them on top of each
other. The blocks will then
