| Designing
with Monkey Wrench by Sue Beevers |
 |
This
class, which has been designed with an intermediate to advanced student
in mind covers a lot of quilting ideas, and uses the Monkey Wrench
block as a way to explore these ideas. You will learn how to cut and
piece the block so accurately that you won't even have to think about
it. And you'll learn how to easily alter the size of the block to
fit your needs. |
| |
You'll
explore color groupings, and color dominance, and how color placement
within the block can alter the block's appearance. You'll also learn
to add pieces to the block, and subtract pieces from the block. |
| |
And
you'll learn what in the world to do with the blocks once you've made
them! |
| |
So,
exactly what will you be doing in this class? You'll be piecing a
lot of Monkey Wrench blocks. You'll be making at least 2 quilts. And
you'll be developing a lifetime of quilting ideas! Sound good? Let's
go! |
