Using "yellow pages" as a foundation for our "string" piecing sets the stage for this tablerunner. I'll share lots of "bonus" tips on how to make your project unique to you by enlarging it, making it smaller, changing the design a bit or whatever you choose. This is a great way to use up those strips of fabrics you just cannot bear to throw away. And this technique is a breeze to make using FQ's (Fat Quarters).
Also included in the class are a few different ways to embellish your quilt with fusible appliqué and some great threads. And by using ALL your scraps! You don't have a machine that has fancy stitches? No problem, I'll show you alternatives that you can use on the machine OR by hand.

We'll cover some basic machine quilting and will include a bit of free motion quilting as well. The project is completed by adding a French Double Fold Binding. Are you worried about those odd angled corners? Fear no more, I'll show you the trick to those too!
