Pillowcases by Sue Beevers
This class has been designed for quilting students of all levels who are interested in a "mini workshop". Two lessons will be presented, each exploring a different way to create a pillowcase. Students will gain an understanding of the relationship between fabric grain direction, and object use and durability. They will also explore how the number of seams in a pieced design affects the "hand" of the finished piece. Finally, they will learn how to design their own pillowcases.
Although techniques are presented on a group basis, the emphasis will be on each participant's creative growth and experimentation.
