Splatters, Splashes, and Splotches by Sue Beevers
This is a class for students who are interested in exploring the myriad of painted fabrics that are possible to make using splattering, splashing, and splotching techniques. Through a series of exercises and design challenges, students will gain an understanding of the relationship between paint, fabric density, and moisture; paint transparency and opacity, and color interaction. Although techniques are presented on a group basis, emphasis is on each participant's creative growth and experimentation.
