Confused Wells by Cinzia White - Fed up with all of those leftover scraps lying around… too small for anything really but too big to throw out. Well Confused Wells is your answer. Made using strips and quick piecing techniques this is the perfect solution. In fact the more scraps the better. Any scrap bigger than 1in by 9in is usable. Intermediate Celtic Design by Scarlett Rose - Take the next steps in learning how to draw Celtic designs with Scarlett's technique for creating knots, with Magic Key #2. If you've done some Celtic applique or taken other Celtic classes, this class is for you! Learn how to make corners with bias tape, create intersections in Celtic designs and find out all about inset patches. Learn a precise method for making your own fusible bias tape with your choice of fabric, a craft or mini iron, fusible web and a fusible bias tape maker. This class also shows how to do invisible machine appliqué, which will give your project a hand appliqued look done in less time than real hand applique. Learn to Fabric Paint by Vicki Johnson - Learn to fabric paint while doing a flowering apple tree. Several techniques to use fabric paint to create landscapes will be presented in this class. Using a pattern of a flowering apple tree you will make a small painting to use in a quilt, garment, wall hanging or other small project. Instruction for using fabric paint in each procedure will be given along with a general description of the type of fabric paint used. Nine Patch Kameleon by Eldrid Røyset Førde - In this class you will learn the Kameleon Quilt® technique of sewing three dimensional curved triangles in between the blocks, and between blocks and borders. The inset curved triangles which can be flipped over and buttoned down to either side, will make for a versatile design with lots of possible looks, - you can practically have a new look to the quilt every day. Your First Quilt by Maria Hrabovsky - If you have never made a quilt, this class is for you. It will take you step by step from the tools and fabrics you will need right through to a finished, labelled, machine-quilted, small quilt. Students will choose the size of quilt they wish to make: doll quilt, wall hanging, crib quilt, baby quilt, or child size. Each student’s quilt will be different from the others. The only prerequisite for this class is knowing how to use your sewing machine. More information...     close
Your Second Quilt: A Quilt for All Seasons by Maria Hrabovsky - If you have taken Your First Quilt and are ready to learn more, this class is for you. If you are a beginner who has already made a basic quilt, this class is for you, too. It will teach you how to make HSTs - Half Square Triangles - one of the most used components in making up quilt blocks. Using only HSTs, dozens of quilt patterns can be made. The quilt pattern for this set of lessons can be used repeatedly and look completely different each time. How to change it to make future quilts is a part of this set of lessons.
