You will want to choose your fabrics carefully for this mystery project.
The background fabric should not be too busy, pick a medium to small print for this. Colors #1 and #2 should coordinate with each other and need to have a strong contrast with the background fabric.
Color #2 will also be used as a border. Color #3 will be used as an accent fabric in the border, so you will want to pick a very contrasting color for this.

This quilt can lend itself to being done scrappy. With each step you can use what ever colors you wish for color #1, color #2 or color #3. However, we do recommend that you use the same background fabric for all steps.
A plump 8th (11"x18") is half of a FQ (18"x22")
