NEVER use the chat channel to advertise or solicit a business.
We do not advertize love quilts or charity events.
We do not use the channel for handouts. Please do not ask others to send you items.
This is a channel for all ages and swearing is not allowed. Keep it clean for younger ears.
Discriminating is not allowed. QuiltCampus is for all races, sexes, ages, religious practices, or sexual preferences.

This is not a place to pick up women. Don't even try.
Lurking is not allowed. If you come into the channel, you must chat with us.
Etiquette
Typing in capital letters is the same as shouting in chat. You don't shout at strangers, so lets not shout in chat.
Do not private message some one till you know it is OK to do so with them.
Refrain from flooding the channel with lots of lines at once. It makes the channel scroll to fast for some folks to keep up.
Do not try to take over the conversation. Join in and go with the flow.
Safety
Do not visit any website URL you see in the channel, unless you know the nick that posted it.
It is best not to post your e-mail address in a chat channel. Discourage other chatters from giving theirs. You never know who is out there. Keep it private with people you know.
NEVER give out any personal information. This includes your address, telephone number etc.
Remember people online may not be who they say they are. Anyone with access to the Internet can enter #QuiltCampus.
If you meet someone in #QuiltCampus and plan to meet them in person, we suggest you do so in a public place, shopping mall, restaurant, zoo or quilt show.
